Surviving Covid as a Farmer

2020 has been quite a year for us even as farmers!

Over the last three weeks we have twice been notified that someone we were around had gotten the covid virus. We decided each time to take it seriously to protect our families and our farm customers. We canceled our Christmas get-togethers, and we stopped our farm deliveries. We got tested a couple times but it came back negative. We quarantined but have now passed the time periods.

On a lighter note, we’ve eaten lettuces, kale and other winter vegetables in abundance in December. Even though we stopped deliveries all our vegetables keep growing and have cried out to be harvested. And nothing helps build the immune system like the winter super vegetables.

We’ll start deliveries up again this week. Look for a message from us to bring great winter veggies for you!
